Play long-term games with long-term people
I’ve been reading a lot about investing as of late. On several occasions, I’ve come across the saying, “play long-term games with long-term people,” as a key principle to sound investment decisions. Naval Ravikant, a renowned entrepreneur and investor, also said this.
Anyway, this principle is a good reminder and apt for life in general, and something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. Life is short. A year goes by in the blink of an eye. So, I think it’s wise that the time we spend is meaningful, enjoyable, and counts for something. And, instead of transactional, short-term relationships, that we should strive for long-lasting, enduring relationships in this game we call life.
